Established in July 2024, the DH9 Foundation is actively saving lives.
We've prioritised placing automatic defibrillators in crucial locations, having installed 15 in secondary schools and facilitated 23 more for primary schools across Dumfries and Galloway.
In partnership with Save a Life for Scotland, we provide essential, free CPR training to schools and community organisations, strengthening our commitment to improving survival rates after out-of-hospital cardiac arrests.
Furthermore, we are dedicated to supporting Cardiac Risk in the Young by funding vital cardiac screenings for individuals aged 14-35.
